The pilotage approach to St George’s is clean and straightforward in all weathers, and the buoyed fairway to the marina is lit and easy to identify, day or night. But remember, Grenada uses the American system (“Red Right Returning”) so red buoys mark the starboard side of the channel on arrival.

Commercial traffic does use the harbour, especially the Carenage waterfront in St George’s itself, so attention should be paid on entering and leaving.
